Wexham Park lane, outside the quarry entrance

Reported anonymously at 20:49, Mon 21 May 2018

On 22/04/2018 I encountered a huge pothole outside the entrance of the quarry on Wexham Park Lane measuring approximately. 3 ft wide by 2 ft) and approximately 4-5 inches deep and full of rainwater which burst the outside wall of the drivers tyre while driving at 20 mph aware of the state of the local roads. The tyres were only a few months old as it's a new vehicle. Not only was I late for work but then had to get a taxi to my parents after midnight when I finished work as my car couldn't be moved until the tyre was replaced at a cost of £170 not to mention a day off spent organising a replacement tyre. The roads around wexham hospital are in a desperate state; despite driving cautiously this pothole was unavoidable as it is in the centre of the road with no space to get around it without mounting the grass verge. This is the 2nd incident causing damage to my vehicle as the alloy on the front passenger side was damaged on Fulmer lane on 12/04/18 due to debris, undrained rainwater and badly maintained road. Please advise if Fulmer lane is in your catchment area as I will also be contacting you about this. I am very unhappy about the damage to my vehicle, resultant cost and inconvenience and look forward to hearing from you regarding your response and how you are going to compensate me. I have multiple other pictures if needed and the tyre which is now no good to anyone.
