Approaching the rounabout travelling West

Reported anonymously at 11:21, Tuesday 7 May 2019

The road markings are not clear. Travelling towards the roundabout it should be defined where the two lanes split into 3. I had a slight collision when a large car pulled across into me as I approached the roundabout. After studying my motorbike video, and looking on Google Maps, I realise now that I was in the wrong lane and should have stayed right but this is not clear at all. I had presumed the lane I was on carried on to become the centre lane, as did the red car in front of me. I would suggest dotted markings, following the green line in the photograph, should be made to clearly show those that are unfamiliar with the area, the direction of the lanes.
