Carrington Avenue/Chapel Road Reported anonymously at 17:40, Mon 17 June 2019 This is near the end of Carrington Avenue, where it joins Chapel Road. The pavement is in a state of disrepair along much of Carrington Ave. Unfortunately, each time the council sends the 'sweeper' round, all it succeeds in doing is destroying more of the pavement and depositing the resulting rubble across what is left of the pavement, so it leaves the pavement worse than if it didn't sweep it. There are a number of elderly people who now walk on the road as they are less likely to fall than if they tried to walk on the pavement, especially with all the rubble caused by the mechanical sweeper as it rips up more of the pavement.
