The path outside the front of number 1, 3 and 5 Stratton Green, Bedgrove. Reported anonymously at 22:03, Tue 1 October 2019 Hello. I live on Stratton Green in Bedgrove and face on to the green where the little brook runs through. The path directly outside the houses numbered 1, 3 and 5 is just awful! First of all it's like a patchwork quilt and has so many potholes all over it, but my main concern is with the weather being so bad there are very large areas of the path which are just totally covered in a huge puddle. When I say covered I literally mean from one side to the other. The only way to not walk through the puddle is to walk on the wet grass which is obviously muddy and slippery, or walk across someone’s garden (not always possible if they have flower beds etc). It's a main route for school children so I often see people tip toeing around the edges going on the grass to avoid it, including mums with buggies. Our poor next door neighbours literally have no way of avoiding it because the path from their house leads directly in to the puddle. The only option for them to avoid it is physically jump over! I'm wondering if there are any plans in the pipeline to fix and level out this path? There is also a completely loose water cover thing. Sorry I don’t know what it’s called but see pics. The whole bit of plastic is loose with big hole all around it. An accident waiting to happen! Many thanks, Louise
