Pavement Reported anonymously at 12:18, Tue 28 January 2020 Over the past 20 years we have been complaining that lorries continously mount the kerb in front of our car showroom. This has caused numerous amounts of damage to the pavement slabs in this location. We have had a number of near misses with our windows. Previously we had metal bollards to try and prevent the mounting of the kerb by lorries delivering to the carpet warehouse opposite. During the past week we have now had a lorry collide with our window frame causing a substantial amount of damage. Fortunately the plate glass has only cracked. However, the damage is substantial enough that the frame and window needs to be replaced at a cost of several thousand pounds due to it being safety glass(quotes are available to view). All due to the fact that the bollards have never been replaced despite our constant complaints. I would like to meet someone from TFB to discuss this matter further.
