Hello, This is more around ownership than the current condition of the road. Having discussed at great lengths with the other residents in Fawley Court Farm, it seems there have been no maintenance provided on this small section of road for a minimum 15+ years. All maintenance has been completed by the four properties fronting this small section of road. This being the case, my first question would be is the road classified as an unadopted road which does not have to be adequately maintained by the highway authority under highways Act 1980? If this is not the case and the road has not been maintained for other reasons; appreciate you all have a very busy job at your hands. Would we be able to explore transferring the ownership of the block paving section, that has no other purpose except allowing access to our driveways, to the six residents of Fawley Court Farm? Making it a private road; we are happy to fund the costs for doing this. Ownership aside the block paving will need to undergo a renewal coupled with full replacement in some areas as its in poor condition. Hence my above question in order to work out how we go about this and if indeed it is an unadopted road and works to be paid for and completed by the residents I would be very grateful if someone could please contact me on this matter so we can discuss please.
