Pedestrian crossing not effective and near death incidences Reported anonymously at 22:33, Fri 24 July 2020 There are many many daily very dangerous incidents with cars not stopping at this pedestrian crossing which is very close to Claytons primary school. Hundreds of families and residents have complained and are so scared about this as so many people have nearly been hit because cars and lorry’s etc rarely stop. It’s not clear enough and there needs to be more signage or a speed camera. We beg the council to simply film the crossing or monitor it for just one day to witness how seriously dangerous it is. So many little children have had near misses here and we can’t wait for a death to occur before something is done. We could easily get a huge petition going but I trust this will be looked into ASAP before a child or family get killed. Thank you
