You are reporting the following problem report for being abusive, containing personal information, or similar:
Chapel Square, Stewkley, LU7 0HA Reported anonymously at 16:46, Wed 30 September 2020 Please find attached photos of ZIG ZAG YELLOW LINES outside of St Michael's C of E Combined School in Stewkley. I have been in contact with Highway Specialist who has informed me that there is no emergency in the above issue as there is no risk to the vehicles however, I believe that children of the school at are a very high risk as faded lines allow people to stop/park on them where children have no view onto the road and that it simply puts them in danger. Recently, I have come across a lot of cars parked on the ZIG ZAG YELLOW LINES which all I've heard was that people were simply not aware that they're there. People stop and park on the lines on everyday basis which although it's reported to the police, I think personally they should be re-painted to be more visible. I agree that in poor weather conditions eg. rain, they're almost invisible. It is important to keep the children safe therefore I hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
