Someone is running a vehicle repair/ recovery scap business Reported anonymously at 19:10, Thu 15 October 2020 Someone is running a car repair /scrap and recovery business from the small workshops located on the lane that connects West Street with mount pleasant. The person continually leaves vehicles which are not taxed or insured , many of them unroadworthy on mount pleasant , West Street and Ardenham street which is adding to the already parking congested streets. The vehicles are an eyesore and a magnet for opportunistic thieves with many ending up with smashed windows and further damage.. The cars have been reported to the DVLA but because they are swapped so frequently they are never towed away. The council should have a serious look at the business and the owner of it. The workshop has a oil drum which is being usedmost of the time for emptying engine oil which is left unsecured and unattended. On other occasions I have seen the vehicles being drained onto the floor and the soil around the lane.
