Drainage ditch from the top of Ellen Rd running parallel with A418 towards Stone Reported anonymously at 17:33, Tue 20 October 2020 After flood defences were deployed last week to protect The Willows estate it came to my attention that one of the problems is that the drainage ditches that run parallel with the A418 past dormer close and up towards stone are completely overgrown. I have lived here nearly 20 years and the council used to regularly maintain these ditches cutting back the undergrowth and even topping the trees that run alongside but this hasn’t been done for years. I believe these ditches being overgrown are a direct flood threat to all the properties on Dormer Close and the problem should be addressed immediately with winter nearly being here. Thank you.
