Before Link Road Roundabout Reported anonymously at 15:45, Mon 15 February 2021 There is so much debris in the road from the HS2 works at the moment. I use this road once a week, and each time I have had debris stuck in my tyre resulting in 2 new tyres for me at a cost of over £300. Each time this has happened, I have just gone past this stretch noted on the map. You'll see from the photos attached the large piece of metal stuck in my tyre from saturday. This results in an immediate loss of pressure in my tyre, meaning I have to pull over on a fast stretch of road to attend to the tyre so I can then get onto a side road safely. If HS2 are going to be doing works, they must ensure their debris is not making it onto the road. On both occasions, the tyre garage has confirmed to me that the metal stuck in my tyres is of a engineering type. Seems very suspicious that its happened in the same areas twice in a row.....
