Hp9 2en Reported anonymously at 16:41, Tue 6 July 2021 Edge of road break up, large lorries such as cement mixers, heavy loads (a crane) having to force other road users off the edge, real risk of fatal accident as road edge would wreck undercarriage of a car. Occasionally large vehicles and vans speeding through what is now a narrow area and on a hill ridge, traffic often on wrong side of the road as avoiding potholes and failed road surface. I've been using this road for 40yrs and recognise there is more traffic than ever but in particular heavy goods vehicles which the lanes are not intended for. As with Common wood lane. Also with locals cycling and jogging more since C19 these lanes are another accident waiting to happen. Including Gravelly way as more often used for heavy goods vehicles, even seen articulated lorries several times.
