Proposed Removal of sign on house owner’s wall, by owner. Reported anonymously at 17:46, Wed 14 July 2021 The sign has been on the wall of 5, Adstock Mews, Church Lane, SL9 9RN since 1993. It directs visitors, trades people, deliveries and post as they travel from Market Place down Church Lane (which is a cul-de-sac). The property numbers in Church Lane are the same as in Adstock Mews. The post still occasionally goes astray. The owner now says they are going to remove the sign because it is on the opposite wall which only faces the cul-de-sac end. They have lived there for approximately six years and have not mentioned it before. The other 13 properties think it will cause problems and do not ant it removed. The entrance, car park and garden are a Limited Company with two Directors. Please advise on the steps we should take to ensure that the sign stays.
