You are reporting the following problem report for being abusive, containing personal information, or similar:
Manor Farm Road Reported by John Williams at 11:40, Fri 17 September 2021 Manor Farm Road is a narrow country road with a 7.5 ton (except for access) weight limit. It is now being used regularly by HGVs working on HS2, on top of those those regularly flouting the law and delivering to Agrii and local nurseries. The result is excessive damage to the road and verges. The HS help line has been contacted regularly but is ineffective. EKFB understands the problem but is doing nothing. Fusion does not reply to its only form of contact, which is online. So far 5 operator sub-contractors have been contacted directly by residents and have instructed drivers to avoid the road. However, every time there is a new HS2 subcontractor the HGV traffic starts again. It is time for action to be taken. East West Rail puts clear yellow "no EW Rail traffic" signs up on roads in areas in which it is working. Why will HS2 not do this on a problem road? Please can the Council do it. Please could we have some enforcement of the weight limit on the road. Furthermore a speed camera van on the road at 7am and 4pm would garner rich pickings from HS2 workers exceeding the 30mph speed limit.
