Footpath that runs between Joiners Lane and Grassingham Road Reported anonymously at 11:01, Thu 23 September 2021 Good morning I have sent in a few requests which have been ignored about the footpath next to my house that runs between Joiners Lane and Grassingham Road in Chalfont St Peter. I don’t think this has been maintained in about a year! The stinging nettles are 5ft high and it is a serious health and safety risk to anyone who tries to walk down it (not that they are able to get very far). Not only that, the weeds are continuously growing through my fence onto my recently landscaped garden and costing me a fortune in gardening fees. Shall I send this on to you to be reimbursed? The amount I am paying in council tax it seems ridiculous that you aren’t maintaining the public areas on the road I live in. And finally my elderly neighbour uses that footpath (or should I say used to use it) to visit a friend of hers who also lives on her own, but she currently has to walk the long and very hilly way round at over 80 years old! Please can you get someone out to sort this out? I have spoken to neighbours both sides who have complained about this also, and no one seems to be doing anything!
