From the entrance to Little Boltons to just beyond Carvells

Reported anonymously at 14:56, Fri 3 December 2021

Blocked drains and filthy gullies causing flooding and filth across pavement and risk of flooding to properties if we have any intense heavy rain and a danger to pedestrians if it freezes. There is a longterm problem here but it has become much worse recently as there is a water leak outside no 71 and the water is unable to flow away properly. The water and leaf debris outside Little Boltons are half way across the pavement and it is very bad on the narrow pavement outside no 63 near to the charging point. Outside 45A &B the water is across the pavement and grass growing in the gully and pavement. Going towards the High Street the first drain outside 43 is full to the top and the one next to it about 25cm below the surface. Outside Hunts it was impossible to see as under a car but some of the slats are blocked. In the 2 drains just after Carvells the tops are clear but leaves and debris visible below the surface. Obviously the water leak is a Thames Water problem but the water should be able to flow away down the gully and drains. Cleaning the gully is a problem here due to parked cars but the problem has been made worse over the years when resurfacing has made the road higher and higher in relation to the pavement. we need some urgent action here to sort the immediate problem but something more drastic is needed to cure the longterm problem. See emails between me and Kate Rolfe, 23 & 26 Jun & 13 Aug 2014. Although marks were made on the pavement nothing was ever done. I have more pictures of the current problem but couldn't include them.
