Seriously?

Reported by Paul Millbank at 20:26, Tue 11 January 2022

The road surface here is now practically un-passable on a road cycle. I cycle regularly from Slapton to Ledburn (home) and use Rowden Lane/Bridego Bridge as a cut through to minimise time spent on the B488. The B488 is really busy and as a sympathetic cyclist to motorists, I like to keep safe and stay of this road, especially in rush hour where motorists take risks to pass me. I'm sure I'm not alone here, there's many cyclists use this road to keep safe. The 40' trucks and constant traffic into the industrial estate have torn the surface up and the council had bodged the repairs over the past couple of years. As a Country that asks us all to use bikes instead of cars etc.....it's about time you made the roads fit for purpose. Road bikes cost more than second hand cars so damage isn't cheap to repair. Spend to save please......
