Street Lights not Operational at Night

The streetlights from the junction of John Hall Way/Crest Road up to the Handy Cross roundabout aren't operational at night. This area is extremely dark and with several lanes of traffic approaching fast there is a danger for vehicles turning into Lansdowne Way as well as pedestrians crossing at this junction.

The lights have been out for a couple of weeks, and might be related to the power works in Lansdowne Way but this needs to be addressed promptly.

  • Following the work by SSE the issue has still not been fixed. One streetlight is now in operation at the entrance to Lansdowne Way but the rest do not work between the roundabout with Crest Road and Lansdowne Way.
