Massive pothole in the road going slow as traffic but cause significant damage to my wheel and new tyre which has only been on a month!
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 23:43, Wed 7 March 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1236453.
Damage to my tyre and wheel on front near side. At 6pm 06/03/2018 due to having to change entire damaged wheel to spare wheel couldn’t get a picture of the pothole as it was extremely dark(pretty sure no street lights). Went back today (07/03/2018) and someone had partically filled it! Watched as rush hour traffic was passing and still causing cars to catch their wheel in the partially filled pothole! With loose stones and tarmac all over the path and surrounding the pothole. The tyre was new, only been on a month. The pothole did not have the white/red markings around it to indicate that the council was aware and intended to fix, you can see this from the photos.. and had the markings been there, perhaps I could have missed it as the markings are quite visible.

This pothole is opening up AGAIN. It has been filled numerous times. It might be an idea to stop completing remedial work on it and investigate the cause and rectify?

I use this road at least 4 times a day and due to the state of the surface outside this property drivers are driving down the middle of the road to avoid damaging their vehicles. Sooner or later there will be an accident at these locations if these surfaces are not repaired.
Please can I ask that this is repaired professionally as you have made sub-standard repairs to this area in the past and this is obviously not working and costing council tax payers a lot of unnecessary expense.
I have followed the council van along this road numerous times and feel that the driver of your vehicle should be reporting these issues not the general public. We are all busy and trying to save money but paying for sub-standard repairs is false economy.
