Loose manhole cover immediately adjacent to the north wall of my home.

Reported anonymously at 13:04, Sat 31 March 2018

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council and Wycombe District Council less than a minute later

A manhole cover with CWWW Air Valve on it is situated just inches from my north wall with my sitting room on the other side. When vehicles go across it there is a loud bang which echoes through the whole house. The wall is just a single brick wall between us and the road. Please could this be remedied. I have reached the end of my tether with putting up with this now for some 30 years. Hillside is situated opposite the Hellfire Caves and on the road that leads up to West Wycombe Hill, the Church and the Mausoleum; Church Lane is therefore a very busy road particularly during the tourist season. Please could you remedy the annoyance of this repetitive and intrusive noise. Thank you.
