Multiple Failed Drain Surrounds resulting in deep potholes

The surrounds of a number of drains in upper Hammersley Lane (past Sandy Lane junction towards Penn) have failed, resulting in large potholes. These need urgent attention as they are likely to cause damage to vehicles.

  • Top of hammersley lane, the potholes have caused a lot of gravel to be deposited on the footpath and it is unsafe for elderly people to walk along, also there is a large deposit of leaves alongside the footpath of Adam Cottage which are very slippery
