Reported in the Pothole category by C Allen at 12:15, Tue 10 April 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Gigantic potholes (even Craters) have emerged on the junction of Chesham Lane and Gorelands Lane (at above coordinates) that are seriously dangerous to any vehicles driving in both directions on that road. Several inches deep and metre wide holes (probably worsened by recent snow in March 2018) and now cars are trying to go around them but this is on a blind bend. Oncoming cars are going to crash into cars coming the other way who are trying to avoid these (what can only be referred to as) craters in the road. Immediate repair is advised as a serious accident will happen - hence why I am putting this in writing. Many thanks.

  • "Immediate repair is advised as a serious accident will happen" - potholes are even worse than when this post was written

The potholes are so bad, people are driving the opposite side of the road around a blind corner!

Also, many cyclists use this road, and this is a real danger to them and fellow road users!!

  • About time something was done about these huge potholes since they were reported in April !
