Amersham Road and corner of Barnes Lane
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 14:13, Mon 16 April 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1283872.
The hedges around the property of 280 ( Amersham Road and Barnes Lane) have grown out into the pavement/footpath. In addition there is a brick pillar right on the corner of the property which narrows the pavement and also which prevents you seeing oncoming traffic when trying to leave Barnes Lane on to the Amersham Road in a car. As you can appreciate this is extremely dangerous. 1)The pavement, as a result of the hedge extending on to the pavement is very narrow - this means you have to walk in single file and this is a busy stretch of road with a primary and secondary school close by. Parents with young children and buggies in particular have great difficulty in negotiating this pavement. 2) The entrance of Barnes Lane is obscured both by the hedge and the brick wall which means that traffic coming from the Hazlemere crossroads do not see that people are trying to exit Barnes Lane. Furthermore, for the driver (and I live in Barnes Lane so have to do this every day) you have to take a chance and pull out as your visibility is obstructed by the hedge and the brick pillar. I feel that this is extremely dangerous and I am hoping can be rectified before an accident happens.

You state that it has been fixed but I can't see how? It doesn't appear to be any different ..... could you give a bit more detail as it is just as dangerous.
