A418 coming from rowsham towards bierton, after lay-by outside rowsham on the bend. severe pothole.

Reported in the Pothole category by Bradley Sheward at 20:09, Mon 23 April 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

I was driving towards bierton at approx 12.15am when all of a sudden there was a loud bang which I noticed my steering was not correct and a "flapping" noise appeared from the front of my car. I pulled over straight away into a safe place to check the car and noticed my front right tyre had blown but also my front left passenger tyre had damage. It came quite apparent that I had driven into a pothole which you can see from the photos. I then called Mercedes assistance who then sent recovery (RAC) out, who towed home at 3:45am. The next morning I received a call from the RAC who had to come out at 8am to tow me to KwikFit to get my tyres checked and fixed. I have a report from the RAC as evidence and also a receipt from KwikFit as to how much it cost. I would like you to investigate and get back to me ASAP.

Kind regards Bradley Sheward
