Station road from bridge downwards
Reported in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:37, Wed 2 May 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 13 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1300876.
Everytime it rains the drains over flow , 2 of the manholes covers get displaced , one major reason is the road edge grates are blocked so water cascades down the hill rather that into underground drainage systenm, i assume if the water went down it would keep drains clear. This has led to major road damage and makes it difficult for pedestrians walk on pavement as we are likely go get splashed by traffic. I reported this via you and local councillor 18 montgs ago but nothing has been done. I understand financial issues but sending one of those drain vacuum vehicles to at least clear the grates can't be that much of a problem. After all this is a major road !

Transport for BuckinghamshireFed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!Posted by Buckinghamshire Council at 11:50, Wed 2 May 2018
