To the right of the entrance gate to GX tennis Club

Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 15:42, Wed 2 May 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Bull Lane is dangerous for pedestrians. One way you can help to keep pedestrians on the grass verge where there is no pavement, is to cut the grass completely along the length of your ownership. A few days ago the cutter stopped short of the tennis club by some 10 yards, necessitating pedestrians to step out into the traffic at one of the narrowest parts of Bull Lane. There is plenty of room on the verge if it is cut. This verge is council-owned so please ask your contractor to come back and finish the job correctly, up to the tennis club gate. Thank you.

Fed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!

  • State changed to: Fixed

Updated by Buckinghamshire Council at 11:44, Tue 8 May 2018

  • Please can you help me to understand what "Fixed" means? Nothing has changed. I would expect some dialogue on the matter and a site meeting if necessay, to discuss options for clearing undergrowth on what is your land. The Council shares responsivibiltiy for road safety with the motorist and pedestrain and I have suggested a way that you can help.

    State changed to: Open
