Deep pothole around metal water/drain cover causing cars to swerve when entering A355
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:38, Thu 3 May 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1301910.
This pothole has been reported many times and STILL has not been fixed despite information on this site declaring that BCC has assessed the problem and fixed it on 26th April. I telephoned transport for Bucks yesterday afternoon and received an assurance that a new incident would be opened and I would be emailed with the reference no. and kept up to date.
Same result as the pothole.....no email and no reference number. Not exactly a glowing reference for BCC to become the unitary authority for this area !!
PLEASE.....fix this pothole and when it IS fixed, stand on the repair, rotate 360 degrees and fix the other 3 deep potholes that have been reported and are within 25 yards of where you are standing.
Thank you

Transport for BuckinghamshireFed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!Posted by Buckinghamshire Council at 10:40, Thu 3 May 2018

I guess the problem is "fixed" in that the pothole will no longer rip tyres and wheels off, however the "fix" is very poor, there's still a gap between the level of the "fix" and the road surface. If it was work I'd ordered, I wouldn't be paying the contractor. And it took forever for it to be done. Other than that...good job !
