Fed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!

  • We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy. The defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention, but has been added to our future programme of routine defect repairs.
We will continue to update you by email when your report reaches key stages.

They seem to be redoing St Johns Road this week but when I asked about St Johns Ave, they said it wasn’t planned to be done and The Greenway was next. This doesn’t make any sense as St Johns Ave is much worse!

I have really hurt myself tonight falling into this pot hole. I am a very tough lady but I have damaged both knees, scraped.my elbow and hand and jarred my back. For God's sake fix this before an older person kills themselves. The black rim is the side if the sunken pavement. Outside 11 Ashtree Walk (on Rose Ave) Hp15 7Tg..
