Transport for BuckinghamshireFed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!Posted by Buckinghamshire Council at 17:20, Wed 16 May 2018

Reference report number 40077615 Thank you for your report. We have now inspected/assessed your enquiry. Unfortunately this is not the responsibility of Transport for Buckinghamshire. The Local Government Act 1972 provides for local authorities to arrange for some of its activities to be delivered by another local authority and it is this power BCC are using to devolve a range of transportation activities (including urban grass cutting and some weed spraying) to Town and Parish Councils. Therefore please contact Parish Council to re-attach sign on post Thank you for your enquiry but this report is now closed. This enquiry is now closed.
