Entrance to RAF Halton Airfield.

Reported in the Weed problem on the highway category by Mark Devlin at 14:30, Wed 16 May 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

Entrance to the Airfield is severely overgrown and is now causing huge problems with not being able to see down Halton lane when leaving the Airfield junction. Its at a point where the national speed limit is in force so vehicles leaving the site cannot see fast approaching vehicles causing a severe road safety issue. Long grass and weeds need strimming back to reduce the risk.

Fed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!
