The verge as marked

Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Phil Townsley at 12:04, Thu 17 May 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Complaint reference number 40055945. Conveniently your e-mails are from a "no reply" address, preventing me from following them up. Your latest was 9 March from Aaron Worrell who promised Chris Nash would respond. I am still waiting. Can somebody please look into this? I am maintaing this verge at my own expense and should not have to.

Fed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit to have your say – it only takes a minute!

  • As I said, this occurs on a daily basis. 2 days ago you said you saw no problem. Well here's one. Caused by inconsiderate parking opposite. Yellow lines needed?

  • Still waiting. Is Chris Nash on holiday or just hiding? He claims to have called at my home weeks ago and got no response but I was home all day, so he is wrong on that. Another agricultural vehicle has been forced to drive over the verge burying the rocks I placed there to prevent this sort of behaviour. Get Nash round here asap and no more pussyfooting please. And don't use the "not a safety issue" excuse. This is an environmental damage issue which you are leaving me to repair at my own expense.

  • I'm still waiting. Chris Nash has not been round and according to your website has not even pretended to this time. Are you still paying him?
