Transport for BuckinghamshireFed up with potholes – we are too!
Government funding cuts and pressures from other services such as social care means there isn’t enough money to pay for all the work which needs doing on our roads.
However, a new single council for Buckinghamshire would save at least £18m per year – money which the new council could decide to put into more road resurfacing.
The Government wants to hear your views on the plans. Visit www.buckscc.gov.uk/OneCouncil to have your say – it only takes a minute!Posted by Buckinghamshire Council at 10:40, Tue 22 May 2018

I cannot believe that a 7cm deep pothole outside no.17 Croft Road, Chalfont St Peter does not need repair? It is impossible to drive safely over the road surface at this point and there are even worse potholes at the top turning circle in Croft Road. Why was only half of the road mended a couple of months ago and the warning sign left at the bottom of the road if there was no intention of returning?
