Daws Hill & Marlow Hill Junction
Reported in the Traffic light / crossing - timing issues category anonymously at 14:07, Wed 23 May 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1320104.
The traffic lights at the RH turn into Daws Hill and exit onto Marlow Hill are no longer on green for enough time. This leads to massive tail backs at rush hour in both directions. The queue on Daws Hill is back almost to Abbey Barn Lane and takes around 25 minutes to exit onto Marlow Hill. The queue to exit Marlow Hill and turn right into Daws Hill is almost as bad. As the queue backs up in minutes it brings surrounding roads and Cressex to a stand still. I have to leave myself 40 minutes just to do five miles in the morning rush! This was not always the case. The lights used to be green for much longer and that would allow the backlog to ease. Why has the timing changed?b

Still traffic backed up Marlow Hill due to traffic lights not on green for long enough at turn to Daws Hill Lane. Traffic is lighter than usual so this needs attention.
