Corner of Prospect Place

There is no proper dropped kerb on the corner of Prospect Place on the High Street side. My dad is disabled and in a wheelchair and currently has to travel in the road along Prospect Place and cross over to get to a dropped kerb to then access the High Street. This is dangerous and I worry that he will be hit by a car. My dad is fairly new to Wing so I don't know how long this has been like this.

    I've received a notification to say this problem has been fixed, but the kerb is the same as before. Photo 172646 shows the kerb which is not dropped and my dad cannot get up or down this in his electric wheelchair. The kerb has too high an edge and isn't flush into the road, like the opposite kerb (Photo 172646) which my dad can get up and down fine.

  • On the entrance to prospect Place we have a keep clear sign on the road nobody takes any notice of this we once had a big yellow box there on the road I request that the yellow box is put back I petition for this some years ago as my son died in an ambulance trying to get out of prospect Place this is becoming a big issue between five and 6 o’clock when the village is gridlocked you cannot turn in to prospect Place because no one stops on the keep clear sign on the road there needs to be a big yellow box once again this will stop people stopping across the entrance into prospect Place it’s a accident waiting to happen for people trying to get in or out of prospect Place

    This problem is very serious and needs to be addressed by Bucks County Council we need a big yellow box the words keep clear do not have any affect and we get rid locked and cannot get out of prospect Drive and drivers get very angry
