24" pothole on main A418 and main road surface in very poor condition throughout general area.
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:16, Sun 10 June 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1335546.
There is a 24" pot hole and the very poor general condition of the road surface in the area. This is coursing a great deal of vibration throughout our address of 158 Aylesbury road and adjacent properties. This is making our property shake quite violently 24 hours a day and waking us throughout the night as the lorries pass though at high speed.

Nothing has been done about this pothole...I live at number 187 and my house is also bring shaken everytime a lorry goes past. If you won't fix the pothole please send me a claim form so I can claim for the cracks subsequently appearing in my plaster to be repaired. My family are being woken during the night by our shaking house caused by the lorries speeding over the pothole and it is affecting our health! I EXPECT THIS TO BE FIXED BEFORE CLOSING THE CASE. It is also very dangerous for the cyclists using the road!

This requested repair was classed as (No repair required) This is a very poor decision that has had a great negative affect on our property and our Quality of life. I believe that someone has attempted to repair or improve the condition of the road by poring tarmac into the two potholes in this area but this has been a very crude repair that still creates a great deal of vibration throughout our property.

The temporary repair to potholes at the junction of Aylesbury Rd with Burcott Lane have come undone and there are again two road surface failures in this area. I was thrown off my bicycle this morning when my wheel went into one of them and was lucky not to have ended up under the wheels of a lorry. Will it take the death of a road user to get this road fixed properly? The vibration caused by lorries going over these potholes is causing damage to my property and those of my neighbours. It is also affecting the health and wellbeing of those nearby due to lack of sleep as lorries rattle by. FIX THIS NOW PLEASE!
