Please could you advise what 'fixed' means, the sign is still in the same state as when it was booked. If there was more information as to the categories allocated to 'jobs' or information as to what is actually being done, such as forwarded to another department, parish council etc it may stop confusion and frustration and possible further bookings of the same problem. Please could you advise as to what 'fixed' in this in stance means. Many thanks.

I have tried on two occasions to inform Long Crendon Parish Council of the issue with this sign but I have had no response, please could you contact them direct and ask them to get the sign fixed, it has been six months now. Thank you.

STILL not fixed. Not Long Crendon Parish Council responsibility, but Bucks CC. Lower section now long since missing.

I booked this again with Bucks CC via this site after the last comment in this thread regarding it not being Long Crendon parish Council but Bucks CC and one again I got the standard cut and paste non relevant reply stating devolved responsibilities and putting me back to the parish council. I contacted the parish council using two email addresses from the village website again stating as I did 6 months ago that Bucks CC state it is the parish council responsibility, and I have yet to have the decency of a reply from the parish council 6 months ago or to my email last week. Is it no wonder that the state of the area we live in is slowly becoming a complete mess when it is left to the public to attempt to book these faults, in fact, asked to book these faults by a recent 'twitter' campaign by Bucks CC, and it becomes centre court at Wimbledon for the reporter between two authorities that are not communicating with each other, and when requested to talk to each other by the reporter, don't. Its disappointing that two authorities that are given finite monies from the tax payer to operate on their behalf still expect that tax payer to do all the leg work. If that sign had been fixed when initially reported considerable savings would have been made, but due to the protracted issue of no one accepting responsibility to spend our money to get it fixe, half the sign has now disappeared probably resulting in a whole new sign now having to be commissioned, met by the council tax payer.
