  • The road is beginning to break up on the bend in the traffic lights by Springfield. Keir are replacing the water main and with reduced road width due to the works the road which was already patched is now breaking up it is being made worse with heavy vehicles. If this surface isn’t put right as soon as Keir pull out and we have a few frosts there will be potholes in a very dangerous location with drivers going into the centre of the road on a very sharp left hand bend. The surface break up is as a result of traffic being concentrated in a very confined area and judging by the state of the road and verge, some of it has been very heavy.
