Top of The Causeway junction with High Street

The post with the parking restrictions has been totally broken off. It was rusty at the bottom and was fallen on the floor. We have put the post next to the war memorial in the hope it is not used as a weapon! There are no other instructions of parking restrictions for those bays i.e. you will have problems with people over staying and tickets etc. And there is a small bit of rusty stump still in pavement. i.e. needs urgent response.   • We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy. The defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention, but has been added to our future programme of routine defect repairs.
