Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 20:13, Mon 23 July 2018
Sent to Aylesbury Vale District Council and Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1370919.
The lower branches of Horse Chestnut trees (with TPO's on them) in Chestnut Way are overhanging the road and adjacent garden. Service vehicles now seen hitting them when passing, resulting in possible damage to trees and their vehicles! Area regularly used by parents dropping children off for school and at school pick up time. Trees therefore in need of a haircut ASAP please? NB: last pruning, arranged by BCC, was approx 2004. Thank you.

May 2019 - Can someone advise when work on these trees is likely to be scheduled for? Please also confirm that the health of the trees will be checked at same time, if not sooner, Thus giving peace of mind to residents who live nearby. Thank you.

Queries and concerns regarding these 2 chestnut trees in Chestnut Way were raised back in July 2018. Several chase ups have been sent and other residents have also logged concerns on this site about the trees. We understood that work would be scheduled for the larger of the trees health to be checked and then work for both trees to be cut back Etc. Can you please provide update on when this work will be carried out as they are cutting out alot of light and the health of the larger tree is a concern as many branches fall during high winds.
