The last sewer cover on Church Lane, directly outside the Cemetary

Reported in the Blocked drain category by Keith Sage at 15:21, Thu 2 August 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Dear Bucks CC,

The sewer on Church Lane, Great Horwood is blocked with mud, stones and twigs. Whilst we haven’t any rain at the moment, I thought it might be an idea to get it fixed before the winter.

The sewer has, all the run off from Church Lane, fed into it. Every time it rains heavily, a large puddle appears, right outside the cemetary. This has been on going since last winter. I contacted Anglian Water, but they confirm it is not their sewer drain.

Obviously, I understand that you are very busy, but please could a drain technician come along and have a look?!

Many Thanks in advance,

Kind Regards,

  • Over a year later and nothing has been done... BUCKS CC stated on 2nd August 2018, that the issue was scheduled to be fixed... The problem is now worse and plants are growing out of the sewer! Please could someone from BUCKS CC state why this has not been fixed?
