Footpath CW57 Between Whinneys Road and London Road

Well used footpath towards bus routes and local school severely overgrown with shrubs (buddleia) and strong weeds including vine like 'old mans beard' (trip hazard) problem since spring. Ongoing report of knocked down footpath sign - sign now removed but weed issue not addressed

We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.
