Potholes leading up to and on the roundabout.
Reported via iOS in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:36, Thu 11 October 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1434948.
Potholes everywhere leading up to the roundabout from Thame, on a slight bend and in the braking zone the whole road surface has failed. It has been like this for ages and apparently deemed to not meet the criteria for repair in the past. From here right up to past the speed bumps needs urgent repair, it’s a disgrace and is dangerous to negotiate.

You are joking right?! You cannot avoid them and they shake the entire vehicle as you drive over them, these are dangerous defects. I suggest someone has another look!

This problem is still not fixed. The potholes are horrendous.

Indeed they are horrendous, yet the Council think this is perfectly alright and that no planned repair is necessary! Anyone who has to drive over them on a regular basis or try and find a usable bit of road amongst the potholes will know that it is not acceptable and is dangerous, and it will only get worse as winter arrives with worse weather conditions, which the Council can then try and blame for the poor state of the roads.

It’s still like it, it’s dangerous and a disgrace, yet the Council will not accept that they need repairing.

It’s still like it and getting worse, wait until we actually get some bad weather, then it will be blamed for the state of the roads for the next several months at least and nothing will be done because of the weather conditions being unsuitable for the repairs! You have to weave in amongst the potholes, and it is impossible to avoid them all. It’s dangerous on a slight bend, with a change in road level on the entrance to a roundabout. One or two tiny patches on the actual roundabout were bodged a while ago, which is almost unnoticeable!

This section of road is in an appalling condition - the entire road surface is rough and potholed, and it's been like this for months. Surely it is a priority to resurface this bit of road?

The state of the road on this roundabout is appalling and is dangerous ; This roundabout has a history of accidents and therefore the surface should be repaired to give motorists the best control and braking .

Still not fixed, more dangerous than ever, especially now the cold, icy weather is here, and now probably cannot be successfully repaired or it will be a waste of resources until better weather, I suppose the Council can blame the bad weather for the potholes that have actually been there for months. I will make sure that any accidents as a result of this negligence are provided with the details of these reports and the lack of action by the Council and their failure to acknowledge the potholes and defects and that they are liable.

Still here, ridiculously dangerous, and with the ice and snow the other week were a hazard that could be avoided by the Council, they unsettle a vehicle on the entrance to the roundabout on a slight curved entrance turn. They even set the traction control and ABS off in my car. The road is a disgrace and there are so many potholes they are unavoidable.

The state of the road leading onto this roundabout from thame is appalling and dangerous, the surface of the actual roundabout is failing with large cracks and can only be described as very dangerous for two wheeled vehicles.

Eventually some attempt was made to select some holes for repair, it still remains a mess and a dangerous piece of patchwork quilt road, riddled with potholes.

It’s still a patchwork quilt of selectively bodged holes, with other holes left. It is impossible to avoid the holes and it makes the entire vehicle shake, and in some cases hit the first part wrong and the vehicle is completely unsettled even at low speeds due to the potholes and dips entering the roundabout on the slight curve, it is dangerous. Leaving obvious defects just because someone doesn’t think they quite fit the criteria is absurd, there are so many of them together it is basically an extreme rumble strip now and is dangerous.
