A4155 roundabout with Wiltshire Road, Marlow.

Reported in the Sign problem category by Jim Lassen at 17:17, Thursday 11 October 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

Sudden appearance of four Council approved advertising signs at this small and busy roundabout near Great Marlow School on Sunday, 7th October 2018. A crazy decision to have them there facing all incoming traffic. There are near misses everyday at this location (I hear the car horns sounding off from my home 100m away) and these signs will distract drivers even more. Existing roundabout safety signage has not been fixed after a collision months ago and these newly erected signs could result in more traffic accidents at this busy location, especially during the school run times and rush hours. Apparently Wycombe Council approved this but their decision making progress is flawed as the signs will distract drivers and lead to accidents. Expect more objections to this to follow from local Marlow residents as this is a safety issue.
