URGENT - the drains gullies are all blocked with silt and have been for a few months. Please can they by emptied urgently so that the water can drain into the bore hole. It got worse overnight and people had to drive on the pavement this morning. Photo taken yesterday. This is in darkness at night so you turn the bend straight into the flood. Liz Bates, Clerk to Seer Green Parish Council

  • Nothing has been done about this and it’s now February; no rain for the past couple of weeks, yet the road is still dangerously flooded. Will the council officer responsible please post a message on Next Door Seer Green to at least explain this. The drain or soak away needs clearing urgently. Please just do it!

  • It is over 3 months now since this was first reported on 15th October 2018, and still it has not been resolved!! This is a flood on a blind corner which is very dangerous, especially at nighttime!! The council clearly know about the problem as they have managed to put up temporary “Flood” signs, but what is being done to actually fix the problem? Just waiting for the next financial year to come around is unacceptable!!! Are you going to wait for an accident to happen before you actually act on it?!?

This is seriously dangerous. It always floods after rain but usually clears after a day or so. It has now been flooded like this for weeks despite no rain. The drain is blocked and needs clearing. The issue has been reported to you on several occasions and still no action. It is just a matter of time before there is a serious accident on this blind bend. Do something now.
