Corner of Azelea Close and Rose Avenue

Reported in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 19:24, Thursday 8 November 2018

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

New road markings have been placed on the road which curves around my property (Azealea Close and Road Avenue)as my house (39 Beechfield Way) is situated on the corner. As you can see in the photo I have a dropped curb for access to my drive and garage, the new lines restrict my parking rights to my property in which I have lived for 12 years. The area of fence is my garden and this was used for a parking area, which has also been marked with double yellow lines. In no other location on our estate has this change to road markings effected other properties (ie. across driveways). This has not improved the school parking problem at all, as the second photo shows a vehicle clearly parked across my drive waiting to pick up students. If anything this has increased the number of vehicles parking on the service road as the residents also have restricted parking. In 12 years we have never had any issues with my family vehicles parking in this area. Please can you advise, as we will be seeking advice from the local MP.
