2 metre long pothole, and rapidly increasing, southbound side
Reported in the Road surface category by Geoff Sheddick at 17:35, Fri 9 November 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1457635.
Approx 5 metres from the beginning of the southbound carriageway, towards the middle of the road, a > 2 metres long x > 30cm wide pothole is rapidly deepening and lengthening, where the surface is being eroded by the offside wheels of southbound vehicles. It only becomes visible to drivers turning into Sheepridge Lane from Heath End Road [whether coming from either the east or from the west] when they are already committed to the turn, and when it is difficult and/or dangerous to make the rapid change of direction needed to avoid the hole.
