Road surface opposite 38 Hedgerley Lane

A section of the road, by the kerb, has collapsed and created a dip approximately 1 foot deep. Cars have to swing out to avoid the hole and go onto the wrong side of the road. I have personally had several near misses with cars swinging out at the last minute to avoid the dip at this very narrow point in the lane.

  • This very dangerous hole in the road has still not been repaired and continues to present a serious hazard to those using this busy road. A pot hole that appeared a few yards away has been recently repaired - can't understand why both defects were not sorted out at the same time as this must have been the cheapest option.

  • Hi, on Wed 27th Feb we drove down Hedgerley lane. We hit this depression so hard that my head hit the roof of the car. We had only just had the tires replaced and tracked, so we get a free tracking check in 1 month. If this hole has caused the tracking to be out when it is checked and it costs money to fix then we will be contacting TfB again asking for compensation. Until then, get the hole fixed! Its been on your list of repairs since 10th December. Thats two and a half months and its still not repaired. Looking forward to getting a response in accordance with the TfB Customer Pledge for this for a change.
