Gorelands Lane junction with Chesham Lane
Reported in the Road surface category by Stewart Walker at 05:46, Mon 10 December 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1482709.
The Road surface has failed over a large area. Although the potholes are not deep at the moment they will become so. The main problem is that the damage extends the width of the roadway and that drivers have to take evasive action which can be dangerous if there is oncoming traffic. The Road surface poses a real threat to cyclists.

This system is a joke. When I reported this issue at the beginning of February I was informed that there had been zero reports of potholes on this junction. The number of reports here (20+) would indicate that is a straight-up lie. So the work was added to your programme of works on the 10th December was it? Well I have just spoken to the council and have been informed that they will not be conducting any repairs to the surface. It might be lethal - forcing traffic onto the wrong side of the road on a blind corner - but the holes aren't deep enough. Who is liable when a serious incident occurs?
