Complete failure of road surface.
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 21:11, Tue 18 December 2018
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1490560.
This has been reported repeatedly in the past by residents and local councillors. I can't think of another section of road in Wycombe that is as bad. It is on a bus route and really needs to be properly resurfaced. Despite this it appears to be inspected and then deemed to not require remedial works. Could you at least post a rationale for it not needing work? Alternatively perhaps the whole section could be resurfaced.

The council pledged to fix this in five days but still haven't. They have failed to respond to regular requests to repair this section of road from former County Councillor Chaudhary Ditta, District Councillor Julia Wassell and myself. We will continue to put pressure on the council to get this repaired.

Remedial work will be both a waste of time and money. Since moving to Wingate Avenue, in 2013, remedial work has been carried out twice if not three times all resulting in the surface becoming bad again. As this is an important through road for many vehicles, including buses, let's just do it properly by completing resurfacing that section and save money in the long-term. Oddly, I see that Freemantle Road was resurfaced in the last year, or there abouts, and that leads nowhere! Priorities folks, that's what it's about.
