Double Yellow Lines Need RePainting
Reported in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 10:26, Mon 14 January 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1512226.
When the development went in the double yellow lines became faded and you can still see them there, just. There are two cars in particular that park there and it leaves very little space for through traffic, if bigger than a car it is pretty impossible to get vehicles through. I have tried to take photographs, as most days it creates many gridlocks along Dedmere Road due to the squeeze and space available.

This is becoming worse every day - there is frequent gridlock at rush-hour, with horns regularly being sounded and arguments between drivers. It's very likely there will be an accident or worse. This is affecting local residents quality of life in the Station Road / Dedmere Road area.
Parking restrictions need re-instating so there is sufficient room for cars to pass.

Back about 5 years ago Nicholas King built a few nice houses on what was the site of the Marlow Business Centre on Dedmere Road. There were previously double yellow lines outside on the road which you still just about see but have been tarmac'd over. If you use this road at all you will know that its a nightmare at the best of times. Come rush hour you can expect several gridlocks as cars struggle to pass each other on the single width road which is due to all the parked cars. Passing spaces are left along the road by common sense residents that live there so that cars can pass each other at these spaces but it seems that common sense has now eroded and we need double yellow lines again. See the attached picture. I cannot believe it but lately I have been stuck trying to pass here and there is a red Audi A1 and sometimes other cars parking and just leaving 1 cars length to go through without even a passing place for waiting cars. What really annoys me is that if these cars belong to the new houses then why on earth are they not using their own car park behind their houses ?
Really hope we can get some double yellows down here, i noticed some fresh ones the other day further up the road and was disappointed not to see these ones done again.

Call 101 and report the ref to the police - they then call the owner asking them to move the car.
